how fun! in utah, it seems like coming up with original ideas would be tough...so many creative minds there. this isn't overly creative, but i thought it was a good idea...one year our ward did up homemade card kits (for the holidays). We've also done flannel board stories, placemat scripture bags, fabric belts, FHE boards, reversible superman/batman capes. I think one of my favorites of all time was 72 hour kits. They supplied the menu (i could email you ours if you want) and costco sized containers of everything, then you got a couple ziplocs and filled them with the menu items. Each 72 hour kit fed 1 person, and you could just do as many as you had people in your family. Then you go home feeling so prepared :). good luck!!

I just had a friend post about Jar mixes and it looked like SUCH a fun idea. She did them for a wedding gift, but they'd be great for a Super Saturday. Here's a link to her particular blog post:

I'll forward you the e-mail with the recipes if you'd like. Just let me know. MitziRobinson@gmail.com

qkziI have no creative ideas, but I know you will do great.... do something with your Dad's famous salsa :) like a party night theme, with ideas on what to eat and what to play... have creative games... and an interesting menu...
I don't know, see not creative, but like I said, you will do great :)

My sister in law just made the cutest little girl's tutu's. She made it with 2 different colors of tule and then in between she would put a strip of ribbon. You can make one for about $3. You can get the flowers and make flower hair clips (that can also attach to hair bands), or my sister just made flower magnets and they were so cute. These are just a couple of my new projects I found adorable and that I want to make myself. Could be an idea for Super Saturday.
